Nagrody BAFTA to jedne z ostatnich statuetek rozdawanych w branży filmowej przed Oscarami. Jak wypadł w nich kandydat, któremu wszyscy przyglądamy się najuważniej? Całkiem nieźle - mowa oczywiście o Leonardo DiCaprio, który wreszcie ma szansę otrzymać upragnionego Oscara za rolę w filmie "Zjawa". Obraz otrzymał aż pięć statuetek podczas gali BAFTA (w tym za najlepszy film, reżyserię i główną rolę męską) i tym samym stał się największym zwycięzcą imprezy. Na drugim miejscu znalazł się film "Mad Max: Fury Road" z czterema statuetkami, dalej "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" z dwiema nagrodami oraz zdobywcy pojedynczych nagród - "Brooklyn", "The Big Short", "Steve Jobs", "Spotlight", "Most szpiegów" oraz "Nienawistna Ósemka".
